Additional Info: This particular colorway resembled what the cult “Heaven’s Gate” wore after their 39 members were found dead in a mass suicide, back in March 26th, 1997. The controversy surrounding these NIKE SB “Heaven’s Gate” dunk highs forced Nike to scrap them (which were originally scheduled to drop back in Fall of 2007). Thus, Nike ended up changing the colorway, and released the Nike SB “Un-Heaven’s Gate” dunk highs instead.
